My battery appeared to have died.

After fully charging the battery, I would unplug it. Leave it turned off (not even standby) and the next day the battery would be dead.

I thought my battery was faulty so I bought a new one, but exactly the same problem!

It now appears that the battery is drained even if the i-Mate is switched off. This never used to be a problem. Maybe the circuitry got buggered when I was using dodgy power supplies in Nepal.

The only way around this is to take the battery out when I'm not using the i-Mate!

Anyone else experienced this?

p.s. At least now I have two good batteries

Hello!

I happened something similar but may be it isn't the same. My battery got empty at all and when I charged it didn't start never again. When I change the battery it continues  happening the same. I think it must be a problem with the power connection. I'm looking for a Technical Support in Spain but I can't find it. When I search it in this web appears a United Kingdom center (some problems with the geografical knowledgement XD). I can't post a new theme, that's why I replied you.

Can someone help me to find a Technical Support in Spain? Do you know if I would be able to solve the problem or it's better to through away my device?

Thanks!

You do know that, when the battery is empty, you have to charge using the mains charger instead of the USB cable????
