Do the "hard reset"... All your data in device memory has been cleared, but you can boot device.
Do you insert flash card with WM6?

This problem has been with install SRS WOW or another DRIVER-oriented software... FULL HR MUST(!) solve this problem.
I do:
1. Turn off device.
2. Remove SIM AND(!) FLASH cards.
3. Remove battery
4. Press AND(!) HOLD "Vloume UP" and "Reset"
5. Insert battery (it`s very hard, especially with p.4, but ...)
6. HOLD "Vloume UP" and "Reset" within 15 second
7. You must see on screen "Erase all data?" question
8. Select "YES"

After that ^, you have clear device. If your device not boot - then your OS has been broken. This may be in 2 cases: if flash-rom insided in device is crashed (that -> Service Center or try reflash and than -> Service Center :( ), and some program (ie viruses (I known yet one)) CAN write to device-ROM-based files (aka "ROM files"). One (or more) bugs in OS. (Heil Micosoft!).

In all cases you can NOW insert FLASH-card with WM6 and press "Reset".
Within booting press "Up" or "Down" button -> that must (or not must (no official information, I see in HTC Prophet documentation. This - not lies:))) prevent from Version Checking Step of bootloading.

Try that. You have luck, in my region NO Service Center :(

In my NOT main job, I wrote the programs for Windows Mobile. I must try to run within debugging. I load appropriate OS (I send in my posts links to ROM`s thats I used for). This device - very great for my goals (and simple for life).

IF YOU GO TO THE WM6 REFLASHING TO DEVICE AND RECIEVE YOUR SITUATION:

Yoy have an FAT32-formatted flash-card. BEFORE use in reflashing, insert your card into any photodevice and do "Menu"->"Settings"->"Format card". They do a FAT16 formatting. And your card is ready ro reflash :) (Do not forget remove "DCIM" folder after that;)
