Status: offline 		Very bad mood of a Chinese boy.

I update the ROM to 6.1 , and it works well. But when i installed CE-STAR program (a plus to suooprt Chinese and Japanese) and restart my phone , my device displayed a blue screen,it dosn't start up!! Please look at the picture:

 
I found some information of how to do a hard reset:http://forums.imate.com/m_1637/mpage_1/key_/tm.htm

And then I do it : I took out the bettery and installed,press the POWER button when hold the FN and GREEN button,the phone restarted,but it still hanging on the blue screen.

Is the hard reset step of what i did right?

What shoule I do now?

Status: online 		Some softwares  can actually cause blue screens. I remember having to hard reset after installing SRS WOW HD.

Anyway, in order to hard reset your 9502, hold both the green phone and the blue Fn buttons, and, at the same time, press the reset pin with the stylus pen. A white screen will come up, asking for confirmation. For what I remember, "Yes" should be in the left softkey. A hard reset will be applied only after you confirm !

Status: offline 		Anyway,i should think you,you are my dear brother.

The problem was fixed this morning,time is the key:before you press the three buttons to hard reset,you should take out the bettery at least 30 minutes (i think so),or you can not see the white screen whitch will show you some information to choose.When you see the white screen,you press left soft key,the device will begin to do a hard reset.

I took out the bettery about 1 hour this morning ,when i reinsert the bettery in my device,i tried to do a hard reset again,i'm excited see the white screen.

But!

I found a new problem:the bluetooth is missed.When i tap the bluetooth settings,there is no COM ports,and when i tap Add new device,the device showed me a wrong message:Problem with bluetooth hardware.

So what's the problem of the bluetooth?

My method is:press the POWER button when holding down the FN and the GREEN button together,but your method is the soft reset hole and other two buttons.

Status: online 		When my 9502, just once, didn't go beyond the blue i-mate screen, I performed a hard reset right away (without ever removing its battery) with the reset pin (plus the two buttons, of course) method.

Anyway, now that you are able to do it yourself, regarding your current problem with bluetooth, I suggest you to reflash your device with the leaked WM6.1 ROM.

Just my 2 cents...

Status: offline 		You are right,the problem was gone after I reflashed the 6.1 ROM,I'm going to do some settings for my "new" 9502 now.

But befor that,I found another new trouble:the Internet button was invalid no matter what program i seted from START>SETTINGS>BUTTON,it was nothing when I press the button.I used the porgram whitch named SKTools to setting the PIE button's shortcut,it dosen't work yet.

Did you found same problem happened in your device?

My IE button was crazy after the ROM upgraded.

Status: online 		I think this "Awaiting Approval" state is i-mate's initiative. Click over "Attachmnet (1)". A popup window will come up showing you the attachment. Download it and analyse it...

Don't know what i-mate is doing with the attachment. I've copied the contents of that reg key here:

I suppose you haven't really performed a hard reset, then. You have to hold both the green phone and the blue Fn buttons and, at the same time, press the reset pin with the stylus pen. A white screen, asking for confirmation, will come up. Only after you confirm (with the left softkey), the hard reset will begin.
