Hi all....I have updated my 9502 ROM to Win 6.1......before that I was using Google Maps when I had Win 6.0 & it was running perfectly......there was GPS on/off in the wireless manager.....on Win 6.1 there is no GPS on the wireless manager & I read that the GPS gets enabled once Google Maps or any other GPS SW is functioning......I tried Google Maps several times & it has never been able to reach any single satellite connection....the GPS settings is configured to COM9....HW port is none with Baud Rate 4800 & the access is set to 'Manage GPS automatically'

Can anyone help ?

I suppose you have enabled it on GoogleMaps, by tapping on Menu > Use GPS. Mine works flawlessly...

ofcouse yes :).....I have just installed an updated version from Google Maps & will check if it will work

unfortunately even the latest google maps version is not detecting the GPS......can anyone help ?

Take a look at this thead. I have SeasGEE running on my 9502 for months. The GPS fix is much faster, and all versions of GoogleMaps I tried so far (including the most recent one) just worked fine ...
