Ok, here's the deal.

I give the phone to a friend to hold while driving so he can watch the GPS/google maps.

We stop driving.

He gives me the phone back.

I close google maps, lock the phone, put it in my pocket.

An hour later I try to use the camera.
UNLOCK the phone and press the camera button.
Nothing.

In fact no buttons work except the on/off button and alpha-numeric keys.
No camera button, no volume up/down buttons, no record button, no OK button, no scroll wheel and button, no Fn button either.
Touchscreen still works normally.
I LOCK, then UNLOCK a few times, no change.
I check the buttons settings, all normal.

I reset the phone and the problem went away.

So I guess I'm wondering whether the phone has some special key combination that performs this bizzarre button disabling while the phone is unlocked.

Anyone seen this feature or used it before??

Of course I'm thinking its just another imate glitch.

Pretty sure I've seen something like that. I put it down to an imate/WM glitch. There are no special lockouts for the keys on the side that I'm aware of.

Occasionally, mine won't wake up. Pressing the power button to come out of standby turns the LCD and keyboard backlights on but nothing else. Requires a soft reset.
