Oprea 9.5 official beta works fine, very fine.
There is some new software in this ROM
On today screen there is an item called "Cell Broadcast", but I`m not sure what it does. By clicking it you can only enable or disable scanning. Haven`t found any settings of it yet.
Also there is an "Arcsoft Streaming Player" inbuilt. (V2.0.0.19)
I think these may come in handy for you:
OS Version: 1.77.0100.01.000000

 can you take a picture of your 9502 screen with system properties where we can see that it is 6.1 on 1.77? That would be great...

...and can someone else who has access to some shop, where 9502 is in stock, confirm that they are on the official new 6.1 ROM?
So we can get things moving....

hopefuly they will not test the new ROM till new year or more and will release download version for us asap...
How does the phone work? Have you encountered any hangups, loose of signal, slow response? Are you using it for playing video...???

Status: offline 		So.... The phone works very well. It is faster than 6.0. For me the same as 6.1 beta version. After soft reset about 48 megs of free RAM. Now after 2 days 42 megs left. I had to reset it 2 times during this week. Both were due to loss of sound in the rear speaker. As far as signal is concerned Ii have never lost it yet. It is stable. Slow response is rare. Mostly when closing application. No video yet. Will try some later today and I will of course let you all know about the result.

Status: offline 		IMHO "jankulus" works at UniCom - polish reseller of I-Mate. They try to sell new model 8150 (NEWS ABOUT IT HERE) in Poland and they are just affraid of us = users of "ultimate" devices (including polish users as me).
I put a comment to the news linked above where I just described my feelings about I-Mate and all issues...
My posts were deleted twice and somone from UniCom replayed that I must be dealer of HTC, heh....
No... I have 8502 ("ultimate") and I wanted to warn all people in Poland from buying anything that has I-Mate logo on it.

I do not belive in any new rom. UniCom company promised new rom in Poland 4 month ago (I posted it here).

Status: offline 		No dude I don`t work for anybody. I`m a student and I bought this device for my own money after saving for it for over a year!!
The fact that you are angry with this device doesn`t mean You have right to insult me.
I dont want UniCom to sell more devices. In fact I dont care about them. I just wanted to let you know about the new system. If You want to insult me than go and F$%^ yourself Ramadan. No replies anymore

Status: offline 		I'm using a GPS program (iGo) and with the old version was working fine (with a little help from gpsgate), but after my upgrade to wm6.1 looks like is not. When I want to start the program looks like wants to start, but after seconds .... nothing. I'm very frustrated and I would like to know if anyone find a way to solve this problem. Please!!!
